The difference between spotting capillary and sealed melting point capillary

1. Production method
The production of spotting capillaries is generally made by tangentially connecting glass capillaries and pipettes. The production process mainly includes three steps: tip treatment, tube wall protection and filling. Spotting capillaries are generally suitable for gas chromatography analysis and microanalysis, and can meet the requirements for extremely high sensitivity and separation effects of samples. The sealed melting point capillary is mainly used in liquid chromatography analysis and high-performance liquid chromatography analysis. Its advantage is that it can avoid the problems of sample volatilization and low solubility and improve the analysis effect.
